Just an update. We are getting close to having production ready. We already have two stores set to put the Kar Kabana in circulation. Additionally, we have updated our design and works better than the prototypes. Not to mention how esthetically pleasing it is.
The Kar Kabana is simply designed to give a person the ability to change clothes without being in the confines of a car while having total and portable privacy. A four panel completely enclosed privacy curtain attaches to a car via a PVC frame with rubberized hooks. The entire frame and curtain fold down to pack away in a carry bag similar in size to a portable camping chair.
Ideally we would like to create a cost base in order to sell The Kar Kabana for $29.99. Although The Kar Kabana was designed for a beach setting, further conceptualizations envision but are not limited to the following uses:
Sporting Event (IE. kids soccer games)
Tailgating
Changing at a ski resort
Mountain Bike or Running Events
Any park or recreation area with no or limited changing space
Car Travel with small children and a port-a-potty
Additional marketing ideas for The Kar Kabana include incorporating logo licensing. We have considered the following viable circumstances that would like increase sales:
Local school logos on The Kar Kabana for when athletes have no place to change at a sporting event.
Logos for professional or college sports teams to display when in use.
Advertising products
A production prototype demostrated by yours truly while changing to referee a football game.
